From October 16 to October 18 2017, the Republican Spartakiad for the residents of house-boarding institutions for disabled children with psychophysical developmental disorders took place at the "BATE" health complex. The teams from 10 children's social institutions took part in the Spartakiad.
The opening ceremony of the Spartakiad was attended by Alexander Rumak, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, as well as by the players of the "BATE" football club.
Young athletes competed in the relay race of sportlandia and in novus and darts competitions.
According to the results of the competition, the judges' panel has determined the winners of the individual and team contests.
The team of Bogushevsk house-boarding institution became the best team of the Spartakiad-2017.
The places among the participating teams of the sportlandia are divided as follows:
1st place - the team of Vesnovo house- boarding institution;
2nd place - the team of Bogushevsk house-boarding institution;
3rd place - the team of Zhuravichy house-boarding institution.
Maslak Marina (Vasilishki house-boarding institution) became the strongest in the individual darts competition, the second place was occupied by Sergeyenkov Dmitry (Bogushevsk house-boarding institution), and the third place was shared by Turban Tatiana (Ivenets house-boarding institution) and Alexander Novakovsky (Rechitsa house-boarding institution).

3rd place: Kazarevich Elizaveta (Gorodishchi house- boarding institution);
2nd place: Fedorovich Yulia (Gomel house-boarding institution);
1st place: Gerasimchik Alesya (Vasilishki house-boarding instituion).
Boys:
3rd place: Kukharenko Artem (Zhuravichy house-boarding institution);
2nd place: Arbuzov Philip (Bogushevsk house-boarding institution);
1st place: Antonov Pavel (Bogushevsk house-boarding institution);
Special prizes from the sports and rehabilitation center "Egalite" were received by Vyacheslav Brausov (Vesnovo house-boarding institution) and Anton Kozlovich (Rechitsa house-boarding institution).
All participants of the contest received sports awards, prizes and sweet gifts.
