It was under this name that another meeting of volunteers, contact persons and adolescents from a closed institution was held. This time we went to the Krivichi closed type institution.

The topic of the visit is quite serious and relevant. Where in our time can you meet people who truly appreciate what they have? People are striving for something bigger, they want the best. This is right and so they should. Unfortunately, most often we forget to live in the present and we don’t appreciate what we have, while there are so many people who would be happy to have what we have.

In groups our volunteers shared and discussed with the guys different values of life. Communication took place in an informal atmosphere, where every teenager could not only listen, think about what was said, but also ask any question intriguing him in the topic. Themes for communication were varied: family, friends, life, time, and people. We hope that such conversations will help the guys not only to think and be aware, but also make them change something.

During the trip, the volunteers tried to show the value of today and the moment they spent together. The children were offered to make their own sweet treat for all the pupils, thereby showing that it is not the place in which they are located that is important, but the people around them. A good end to the meeting was a sweet table, a general meeting with all groups and a wrap-up of the day.

We hope that the meeting was not in vain for each pupil. Many thanks to all the volunteers who took an active part in the preparation and holding of this event.
